Consular Services
The Rome embassy, supported by honorary consulates in Genoa and Catania, serves Italy and is accredited to San Marino and Malta; it also represents Azerbaijan to the Rome-based UN food agencies (FAO, WFP and IFAD). Consular work includes sticker visas in non-eVisa categories, passport and identity services for Azerbaijani citizens, document legalisation and citizen assistance, while the honorary consulates offer a more limited range of help.
Embassy or eVisa?
Residents of Italy, San Marino or Malta turn to the Rome embassy — or the honorary consulates in Genoa and Catania — for long-stay, work or study visas, document legalisation, or consular help. Routine travel is arranged online.
Apply for your Azerbaijan visa online
Most travellers don't need to visit the embassy — eligible nationalities can apply for the eVisa online.
